So my trusty 72K turkey fryer burner is starting to kick (won't maintain a blue flame, using 50% more propane than normal) and based on usage I'm Ok with buying a higher end rig.

Does anyone have/use the Blichmann floor burner?  Its pricey but apprently built to last.

Suggestion welcome.

Thanks,

Before I converted to electric, the blichmann burner was top on my list.  Not because I have  blichmann kettles, but because it has good specs and reviews...and it is a quality brand and you get what you pay for.  I'd say go for it.

I've had one for a year now.  It's an awesome burner.  Quiet and efficient.  I can get 3-4 brew days from a single 20lb tank.  It is quite pricy though.  Crappy Tire has a $50 burner that a few of the members have.  Everybody seems pleased with it.

Sweet, thanks for the input.  Chris, how are you finding your burner is holding up?

Pretty good. It's a solid product. Very well built.
