Since I switched to 10 gal., I have an issue with not having enough refrigerated storage.  With the temps starting to creep up, I am getting worried about spoilage.  Do any of you keep much kegged beer at room temp during the Summer?

Chris Craig

I'd at least crash the keg for a few days and carb it before storing it.  If you don't it'll continue to change as if you had kept it in the carboy.  Can you keep it in your ferm chamber near the fridge?

Right now, I have two kegs in the kegerator, three in the fermentation chamber, and three more outside.  I need to buy another fridge or something.

Chris Craig

Good idea.  You should be able to find one on Kijiji if you're patient. Another freezer would work well too.  I have a couple of spare STC-1000 controllers.  $20 if you want one.

For what its worth I've been keeping kegs in my cold room which avgs about 12C and yet to have a problem.  I do <Oldsouth> hawevr process them post haste</Oldsouth>.
