That's a great idea Justin.

It works out pretty good, the only pain in the ass is making sure they are completely dry. My dog go right nuts for them and usually hang around pretty close on brew dry to scarf up any stray grain.

Just keep them away from hops - had a rather sick dog one time when he ate a bunch of post-boil hops. Greyhounds are supposedly the most acutely affected by hops poisoning.

I knew about the hops and keep it away when I clean out the mash tun and when making the biscuits. I make them with all natural PB and brown rice flour as well cause it seems like there are more dogs now that are sensitive to wheat.

Gluten, I think - which is in Barley, Wheat, and Rye (and others maybe - I forget).

Some of the more picky dog-owners will keep their hounds off grain of any kinds - I'm one such picky SOB - largely due to the fart-storm that greyhounds seem to emit when given grains. They're a sensitive dog though, so others may be fine :)

I was worried about the grain free diet at first, but did some research online and found like everything, arguments for and against, so I decided to give it a try. I have a couple of people that are repeat customers and say that their dogs absolutely love then. If I sell enough to make people happy and it keeps me in beer making ingredients I will be happy.
