OK...another dumb question.

The 2 OBK partial grain kits I got from them, only have Gallons for measurements.

My question, US Gallons? Or Imperial Gallons? As there is quite a difference.

Thanks....probably knew that answer but thought I would ask.

Easier to figure out as 1 US gallon is 4L (I know...really 3.78), just psyched myself out when I was doing a leak test on my brew kettle I got from OBK, just checking for any leaks, needed some more thread sealer than what they put on it, and the male to male coupler needed to be reset as there wasn't enough threads to screw on the bazooka screen. So now it is ready to go for my first batch on the weekend.

Was curious to see how long it would take to boil. So using a 4L water container (which is got me to thinking about US vs UK gallons), took about 30 mins to bring to a boil on the stove. Not bad....can't wait for my propane burner though!

Yeah, propane will be MUCH faster.  I just picked up that Canadian Tire burner today.  It'll be nice to be rid of the soot from my last one!

ECH

Yeah, picking mine up Monday when I got over to my PO Box.

I thought I saw you with a nice fancy Blichmann once at the mashoccur last year?

Chris Craig

You did.  This new burner is for my HLT.
