Temp Control

I've seen that thread before, but never tried it.  It seems like more trouble than it's worth considering you can get a STC-1000 on eBay for $16, and it's digital.

I looked into doing that - then I bought a cheap controller. Definitely the right choice.

And it looks pretty cool to have a digital controller mounted into the collar of your keezer  :banana:

I'd strongly recommend not going too cheap on a temp controller.  I'd get one with a compressor delay setting so the controller doesn't kill the fridge or freezer.

The STC-1000 has that functionality.

trying to remember what model mine is, but it has a compressor delay too.  I think mine is set to 9 minutes.

Yeah, I have an STC-1000 already, it seems to work well.  I was just curious whether someone tried tihs method or not.
