Picaroons Presents "Ladies Love Beer Too" Tasting for International Women's Day

FREDERICTON, NB – In honour of International Women's Day 2012, Picaroons Traditional Ales is presenting "Ladies Love Beer Too", a beer tasting event open to all but especially tailored to put the spotlight on the role that women can play in the creation and appreciation of great craft beer.
Hosted by beer expert Mirella Amato, the event will take place on Tuesday March 8th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Crown Plaza Lord Beaverbrook Hotel (659 Queen Street, Fredericton). The evening will feature tutored tastings of several beers along with light food pairings, as well as a presentation about the history of women in beer and brewing.
Tickets for "Ladies Love Beer Too" are available for $30 cash only at the Picaroons Brewtique (422 Queen St., Fredericton). All proceeds go towards the Art Reach Program at the Fredericton Arts & Learning Centre.
