Title: Have Centennial: want EKG, Challenger, or Fuggles.
Post by: Richard on November 09, 2011, 12:22:52 AM
I have a load of Centennial hops I'd like to trade for Challenger/Fuggles/EKG. Would settle for Willamette if nothing else is offered...

Have both leaf (in 1oz sachets) and pellet versions (larger, will split).

Looking for at least 3oz of each to make a few batches of a SMaSH Ordinary Bitter... Running out of session beer atm and the higher-ABV brews are not good substitutes if you know what I mean :P

session beer huh? what's wrong with that IPA!?!?!  LOL, my buddy Mike never did show up so I had to drink it myself and all I have to say is - you got any more?  I've definitely developed a taste for it, pretty good since it only took about 3 months. I think it was jake's "rookie IPA" that got me started

anyway ....the hops we all got at the last meeting at your place, is there any of what you're after in that? If so I have some for you.

I have alot of challenger and fuggles I can swap for. I believe challenger is in leaf and fuggles I know is pellet. Unfortunately no EKG. Let me know how much you need

By session beer I mean ~3.5%. I can drink that stuff all evening long and not even get much more than a slight buzz on, but I like the taste. I've got a Scottish 70/- at the moment that I've been running through, but it's running perilously low, and the next strongest brew is 6.5% :P

Dave: I've made a shitload of beers around 6%, but if I drink a bunch of them I wake up wishing I was dead the next day. The IPA is about 8.5-9% - I might as well call in sick (if I had a boss) before I even start drinking :P

Dean: Yeah there's a bunch more; can chuck you a couple of bottles if you'd like - trade for the stout you got? Glad you got converted too :D

Jake: Excellent man - do you want leaf or pellet centennial? I'll go figure out exactly how much I got, but ideally I'd like 6oz of each - don't care if it's leaf or pellet.

Should be getting back on Saturday in time for some of the meeting; could do Sunday if you want to brew at yours?
