Title: Grolsch bottles
Post by: Dean on June 30, 2011, 05:55:59 PM
I just got 32 of these, do I have to replace the cap seals or can they be sanitized and reused?

If the seals look clean and you soak in sanitiser them you're probably alright... I'd be more concerned about the bottles being green (if they are) and hence allowing your hops to photo-react into something that smells like a skunk let loose in your beer.

If you use them, keep the bottles in the dark.

yeah they're green but they stay in the dark anyway, and my next batch is a stout so I should be okay.

they said I just missed out on 2 cases of Fisher bottles ...dammit
