Who is around that produces local malt?
I think @jamie_savoie (http://nbcba.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1182) and @paulmaybee (http://nbcba.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2010) went to a seminar in Edmunston by a NB maltster... can't remember the name
Looks like there is a "Maritime Malt". It seems to be at least grown somewhere in western NB.

MaltBroue... They are about halfway between Edmundston and Riviere-du-loup, this was the thread on it.

I heard there was a farm in the Florenceville/Beechwood area looking to setup one of their malting units but not sure if that ever happened or how far along they are with it?
The latest Noble Grape newsletter indicates that they have Horton Ridge malt (Nova Scotia) here in their Fredericton store.

I can confirm, I was in store yesterday and they have a decent selection.
Bought some of the Horton Ridge stuff from Everwood about a month ago, but good to see Noble is bringing it in now.
