This is a lid with a gasket that goes on a bucket.
For those of you that have buckets kicking around and don't know what to do with them.

- You could use these to put grain in your bucket for storage purposes;
- You could also make a hole in the top and use as fermenter. (no need to tell us that you use glass, or better bottles or anything else, thanks)

Those look nice - I've been getting my buckets at Vinters - $2.50 each, he also provides a lid, although they are not always completely air tight (but usually are)...
