This reminds me of the Engineering Design presentation I went to a couple weeks ago. A group of students had built an immersion chiller where the water went through an impeller attached to a mixing paddle. The water then proceeded through the immersion chiller. They had even done calculations to find the optimum tube size and spacing. It was pretty impressive and I wish I had taken a picture. I imagine this survey is probably from the same group?
