Just thought I'd share that Princess Auto has some cheap replacement laptop power supplies for $24 a piece. It comes with multiple adapter heads to fit most laptops. Without the adapter head , it's just a simple cord with a 2 prong female plug (very easy to tap into).
They are rated for a max of 19.5V / 90W so about 4.6A.
Picked one of these up for my GFs laptop, and picked up one for myself for any future 12V gear I add to my brew setup.
They are the perfect step down transformer for your custom electric brewery....just sayin...
