Lately you may have noticed a 5-15 second pause when posting to the board. The issue is intermittent, but has been occurring with greater frequency of late. I have tracked down the cause to either our black-listing lookups, or to the email alerts. More testing will be done later in the week if the issue does not resolve itself. In both cases the bottleneck is upstream from the site, so the best that could be done is to disable the features until our dependencies have fixed their own latency issues.
