« on: January 18, 2011, 12:52:53 PM »
My CO2 tank and regulator fell over and the plastic on the front of the gauge came off and it also bent the little thin metal piece that has the numbers on it is this something I should be worried about or pop the plastic cover back on and im good to go ?

think of it this way, for a few dollars you can have peace of mind. Otherwise, something might blow.

which gauge? i've tipped mine over before and it broke the high side (contents gauge) and the reg still works fine. As long as its not leaking out that side, your still good for the top gauge for the low side. But worst case, pop the plastic back on and hope for the best...check for leaks though with some soapy water to be safe.

The only thing that is bent is the piece of metal that tells you what the PSI is not any actual internal parts just the paper thin metal second time this has happened

I did the same thing about 3 months ago.  Still seems to be working and as it was just the contents gauge oh well.  Related question, whats the price tag for a new simple (single keg and bottle) reg assuming you have the tank?
