Title: Garrison Competition 2017

Garrison Brewing announced their 2017 competition (http://www.garrisonbrewing.com/community/#home-brew-off). This year is a Kolsch with entries due at the brewery for February 12th. In the past they've allowed drop offs at Noble Grape in Fredericton. I've sent them a message to see if they'll do the same this year but I'm assuming they will since the competition is sponsored in part by Noble Grape.

EDIT: Just confirmed you can still drop off at Noble Grape in Fredericton. Make sure to give yourself enough time for it to arrive in Halifax.

I haven't brewed a Kolsch in a while. That's not a very forgiving style, so it would be neat to see how you do with BJCP judging!

I'm a fan of the style but I've never brewed one myself. I've wanted to for awhile so nows my excuse. Now to track down a recipe...

Just put 40% crystal in and you should be good!

It's a very refreshing style I've done a few batches and I plan to do another one soon...  ;)
