Bruce's “Not Joe Average” Pale Ale is going to be launching this weekend (Sunday I believe) at the Laundromat if anyone happens to be in Moncton.

This is great. We can't have enough craft brew in New Brunswick.  I'd love to try it, but unfortunately, I won't be anywhere near Moncton for a while.

This guy is from Riverview...which is pretty much Moncton.  A buddy of mine went to the Laudromat last night and said the IPA is quite good.
Pretty cool, I'd like to talk with the guy sometime.

"Both launch beers are American in style. The “Not Joe Average” Pale Ale is 5% ABV and 19 IBU, and the “Hopicide” IPA is 6.4 and 100 IBU."

I guess I will be making a pitstop to the Laundromat pretty soon..

Did you make it there Fakr?  Do they fill/sell growlers?

I went on a mini brewery tour of NS over the long weekend... Ended up stopping at the Hell Bay brewery in Liverpool, Sea Level brewery in New Minas, and Paddy's brewpub for a growler in Wolfville.  I was hoping to stop by the Laundromat on the way back through but didn't want to push my luck with the lady.  It'll have to wait for the next trip...

No I didnt make it.  Things came up but I'll drop in sometime this week for a sample.  I'll post my impressions, but from what I've heard he makes good beer.

At the laundromat now having a hopicide.

I'm very happily impressed.  Not overly aromatic but very flavourful.  I'm really impressed with it's quality taste.  I could swear I tasted something very close at the Garison ale house.
Nice bitter bite to it.  The malt balances the hops nicely.
I could drink 3-4 of these easy without needing a drink of water to rinse the mouth.

I very much recommend this beer. Want to try his "not your average Joe" pale ale....its gotta be good too!
