A number of places are doing this in the US. Modern Times is doing barrel aged coffee beans. Would love to try both.

Hill Farmstead has been doing it for awhile. Not cheap though, I think theirs was like $30/bottle, but might have been a pint, so larger than these.

I believe the maple syrup that Trailway used on the Maple Drip was barrel aged in a whiskey barrel. I could be wrong but maybe @DandyMason or @Jake could say for sure...
