Title: Chocolatey Madness

Pair with chocolate stout:

Cherry Chocolate Cheesecake

Crust:
2.25 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
1/3 cup melted butter
1/8 cup marishino cherry syrup

Filling:
3 x 8oz packages of cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/3 cup either heavy cream or strong coffee
1.25t vanilla extract
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup drained, chopped marishino cherries

Directions:
1. Mix crust in bowl, then put on bottom of greased (glass or spring-form) dish
2. in another bowl, beat filling on low (except for chocolate chips and cherries) until good and mixed, then stir in the final ingredients, and gently pour on top of crust.
3. put in pre-heated 350F oven for about 30 minutes.

This is very good for breakfast as well, although I'm having milk instead of beer.

ya, my house stout has brown sugar, oatmeal, and sometimes coffee, so it kind of is a breakfast stout already.
