Brewhouse yeast strain
« on: July 29, 2015, 12:09:07 AM »
So I brewed a kolsch on Monday and I left a sample of wort on the counter in my brwery and today there's a white layer forming on top. I got to thinking it might be interesting to brew with it. What do you guys think?

You could always try a 1gal batch to see how it goes. Chances are there is brett but also a number of other bugs that are going to cause issues. At least if you try a small batch, if it doesn't go well you don't feel bad dumping it and if it turns out ok you can harvest afterwards.
