Pressure release valve
« on: November 25, 2011, 05:21:25 PM »
Apparently I have a pressure release valve, that does want to hold any air at all... Anyone got an extra I could buy? I know I can get one at OBK for 5 bucks, so no big deal either way..

have you checked to see if the bottom of yours is missing the rubber part? i've had a few that have come off on mine. Also, i find some vaseline seals up a bit better if you haven't tried that yet.

even some teflon tape around the threads might help before screwing it back in.

Try stretching the coils of the spring apart with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
