Gas line
« on: January 16, 2012, 07:12:18 PM »
Does anyone know where I can find some 5/16 ID gas line... the stuff with the thick walls that OBK sends? Or does anyone have some they would sell? I checked at Home Depot and Kents so far.

I'd be up for grabbing some of this also; there was a discussion a while ago regarding the club stocking up on the stuff, assuming nobody has chimed up here in the next few days I'll ask some suppliers for quotes on a full reel at once.

5/16 ID?  That's pretty big isn't it?  Do you mean 5/16 OD?

No I meant 5/16. Specifically looking for 5/16 ID - 9/16 OD.

Richard - OBK is selling it for 0.99/ft. It would be good if we could get a role for a lot cheaper.

Too bad.  I just got back from Houlton.  I picked up an order from kegconnection.com.  They sell that hose for $.59/ft.  Shipping was flat rate too.

The 5/16 OD stuff is beer line. See:

http://www.ontariobeerkegs.com/product_p/beerline.htm
http://www.ontariobeerkegs.com/product_p/gasline.htm

Simgo have something close. 5/16 would be .3125" ID, whereas they have .327. The stuff listed as red air line is I'm fairly sure the stuff I currently use, bought elsewhere in smaller quantity. Works fine.

Fakr brought me some 1/4 inch braided hose from princess auto in Moncton. It was like 30 bucks for 100 feet and they had it in the store. I use it for my gas line and it works great. Here's the link if interested:
