I was thinking about the big one, that would make a dandy bar. Go for it if you want it.
I may be interested in a larger one. Where would you run the beer lines out? is there a place for this?
He actually has 2 of the larger 3 door beer fridges, they are 90 inches wide by 27 inches deep and the one smaller one that I want.
If we take all three, we can probably get a deal.
PM me if you're interested.

Would you just sell the boiler and make two Brutus 10s our of the kettles?
Yeah i suspect the first guy would want ten grand for that.
Would he be willing to take it to Halifax for some extra money? If he would, I can take it back tomorrow and bring it to the meet.
good grab senior! now you have your brewhemoth chiller!
Did you try this cooler out yet John?
But then again I'm cheep as hell.
Is it soft plastic? Might be good for a no-chill experiment.

Wow shame it's in Augusta Maine. If that was local I'd try to snatch that up right away.
Atlantic Fire & Safety will fill while you wait for $65 or so. Not sure about the hydro though.
Ill still take one if you're looking to get rid of it. Bring it Saturday?

This'd be good for your basement Dan!
Just love it when you contact someone that has something forsale on Kijiji, and they never answer you. What's the point of posting it, if you aren't going to answer people that want to purchase, what you are selling. There's a lot of ignorant people out there. This happens to me more often than not. When I contact someone now I expect them not to answer.
If they are sold out, great. Then take down the ad, or at least reply to the e-mail to say sorry they have all sold!
2 kegs up on kijiji for $100... http://www.kijiji.ca/v-hobbies-craft/fredericton/pepsi-kegs/590612396?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
is this HopHead from this forum?
Not sure if these old kegs have any use or not...So I just picked these up. They're Golden Gate kegs I'll either make them into a coffee table, stools or just maybe use them to do a cask ale. The only problem is the parts have been obsolete for a few decades. So if I want to use them for beer I'll need to find parts. I don't suppose any one has any Golden Gate fittings? Looks like I need 2 different couplers one for gas and one for beer and a bung for the side.

Assuming you can get kegs at $40-50 each, it's cheaper to buy from the store.
"Not even close, paid $1,000"
wow, did it come with a tractor?!
Here's a keg, co2 tank, some weird plastic kegs and some carboys:
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?utm_medium=email&adId=1010633774&siteLocale=en_CA&utm_campaign=email_alerts&utm_source=alerts
I was the one that picked up the keg and CO2 tank from the guy that had them with the weird plastic draft kegs on kijiji last week. I sent the the wife into town to go pick them up as I was away and the guys says he has a friend that wants to get rid of some stuff. I email him and he says he has some kegs, taps and maybe a regulator. I go in today to pick up the stuff and he has 4 kegs, 2 regulators, 2 taps, all the connectors and a full 20lbs CO2 tanks, and then he says he only wants $140!!!
The first one was not full, it only has about 200psi left. As I am new to kegging I am unsure how long that would last.
Interesting Pliny... that thing is huge! Also, how do you run a barley crusher with a vertical drill press?
When it comes to brewing, I've learned it's way easier to ask for foregiveness than permission

Nah, just keep it well hidden for a while, smack it around so it looks well used and when she says "what the hell is that and when did you get it?" you respond with total surprise and disbelief that she hasn't seen it before and say "got that YEARS ago honey, don't remember where from...maybe someone gave me their old one...just can't remember"

Saw that, it would make a great mashtun.. Walmart sells the same ones new for $80:

I broke one awhile back. Was in my sink, full of water and Oxyclean, cleaning it. Had a couple of tough spots that wouldn't come out, so I was using a carboy cleaner (the one you attach to a drill), by hand, just for a couple of spots. It slipped out of my hand, and the head of it struck the bottom corner of the carboy, literally was like a bomb going off with the rush of water and such out of it. Had a small lake in the kitchen for a bit, as the water rushed out so fast that the sink couldn't handle it.I made one of those a while back but I altered the design a bit just for that reason. I put a plastic cap on the end of the rod and my cleaning rag covers it as well. So it's now double insulated.
Really? Boo, they said they would sell to me. Any chance you could sell one to me?I could sell you one man. I have some 3gal I could sell you too. I have too much carboys lol

I wouldn't mind another 3 gal carboy. Could split batches and experiment.
$40 kegs, that's awesome. Wonder how many he has? When I asked him if they were still for sale he said yes and just asked how many I needed. I am hoping to get three. I'll ask and let you know.

11Gal Mash tun (Igloo type cylinder cooler) with stainless false bottom
stir plate, (very small) flask, stir bar
50' immersion copper wort chiller with garden hose adapters
25' immersion chiller copper tubing
bottles/cappers
digital thermometers
digital scales (metric only)
nitrogen regulator
1gram increments... Are you that precise with your hops? LolI am, but I was looking for something for water chemistry adjustments as well.
The mashtun and 50' chiller may be sold...
I'd be interested in one, maybe a good starter smoker?
Group buy? 4 charcoal smokers for $125I have never used this type of smoker before. But check out kamado guru. They would certainly work for low and slow cooks for salmon, ribs, chicken, pork butt etc. Check with the seller regarding size to ensure you can lay out a large piece of meat or ribs. I have no idea if you'd be able to use them for pizza, or anything needing a high temp. I can't imagine you're going to get into a smoker for anything close to that price. Certainly worth it to see if you like that type of cooking and possibly upgrade later if needed. It's hard to tell the condition based on the picture, something worth looking at a little closer.
For all you BBQ guys, are these a decent option for $31.25 each? I know it's no Kamado...
