amarillo hop shortage
« on: September 10, 2013, 02:30:00 PM »
Looking for 5 oz of amarillo hops for dry hoping a IIPA.  noble Grape is sold out, Bob Latimer at beerandwinefilers.com is not answering my emails and I really do not wanyt to pay $6 / oz with shipping from OBK.  I can buy or borrow since I will be getting a pound from beerandwinefilers.com when I hear back from them.

Hey Reid,

You're going to have a hard time finding Amarillo as there was a shortage this year.

Good luck!

I scored the last pound from Beerandwinefilters.com and should be here by Friday.  Bob Latimer is great and the prices are good.  9 lbs of hop pellets for $110 shipped.

Right on, glad to hear it worked out for you.  That's a great price too!

Yeah Bob is a pretty good guy, busy as hell though. He let me browse through his coolers when I was there and pick out whatever I wanted. His warehouse/cooler is connected to a UBrew.
