Agreed, after spending hundreds for the same equipment, assuming this gear is in good condition

I'm curious to find out how big the mash tun and chiller are.  I bought a bunch of grolsch bottles off kijiji one time, and when I met the guy, he said he was getting out of brewing completely and gave me all his gear...including hydrometer, mash tun, etc.  At the time I didn't even know the thing was a mash tun until I found it earlier this year in my garage, and realized that's what it was....funny thing is, it was a cooler just big enough for maybe 6 cans of beer...with a drain tap in it....lol!   probably used for steeping specialty grains...
Funny looking back at some of the crap I've collected for brewing and really had no idea what I was collecting...!
