9.25 Lbs British 2 Row
12oz 55L Crystal malt
4 Oz Torrified Wheat
3 Oz British Chocolate Malt
0.5 Lbs Clear Belgian Candi sugar
4 Oz Lyles Golden Syrup
0.5 Lbs Dark Brown Sugar

1 OZ Northern Brewer @ 60 min
0.5 Oz Fuggle @ 15 Min
0.5 Oz Fuggle @ 3 min

Wyeast 1084

Dave, just curious - does the book call for WY1084?
I was under the impression that Old Peculiar uses 1098.


By the way 1084 is an excellent yeast. Really awesome for Reds and Stouts.

Book shows 1084 I would have figured also that 1098 would be the first choice

and also normally in this book it gives you  1st choice and a 2nd choice but it only lists one yeast for this W1084
