Second batch of this just pitched with S-23; gravity was two points higher (1.051) but the boil-off was a little more - I just drained the kettle more so the same amount ended up in the carboy.
Propane took just as long, but that's 'cause I didn't ramp it as high as I might due to worries about boil-over. This burner is a versatile little thing.
Dean showed up and gave me a hand with the propane so I didn't end up with a six foot beer-snake
(his IPA/IIPA - bloody good stuff).
